Cookestates pride themselves on being community minded.
Every year we aim to raise some money for either local events, local charities or national charities.
It is our pleasure to contribute.
Over the years we have supported Macmillan Nurses, Crisis at Christmas, Cardiac Risk in the Young, Combating the causes of Homelessness and many more.

Christmas “Coffee & Mince Pies Open Morning” with Raffle.
We raised £117 for CRY
“Summer Coffee Morning” Raffle raising £102 for Macmillan Nurses.
New office Open day at our new branch in Woodberry Down Raised £137.00 for Former Mayor of Haringey Sheila Peacock’s Charity for disabled and vulnerable children.
Our 2nd grotto with Santa giving free gifts to local nurseries that came to visit. We had 312 children attend from local areas, also raising £198 for Crisis at Christmas.

In 2013 Our Business Development Manager Janet Cooke was nominated by local people and Tottenham Traders for an Unsung Women's Award and received it from the Major of Haringey for work in the community.
Our 1st Santa grotto with free gifts to the under 5's in Tottenham.
SGV Support Guidance and Voice, Cancer support Charity in Tottenham.
And for Crisis at Christmas which was visited by Mayor Boris Johnson.

Best Christmas Window in Tottenham, Creating community spirit.
Star Wars Theme 1st Prize donated to The Brook School for Disabled Children in Tottenham.

Cookestates make Regular donations to Combating the cause of Homelessness since 2011.
Supporting Gladesmore Community School Tottenham in their positive reaction to the 2011 riots in Tottenham. They decided to produce a CD “Everybody Dreams" and Flash Dance to express their feelings of the effect the riots had on them as young people.
